Job Summary of Cash Handling Associate:

As a Retail Cash Handling Associate at Big 5, you'll: Be responsible for overseeing the front counter POS (register) terminal; Perform cash-handling and bagging of purchased merchandise; Greet customers, answer telephones, and stock shelves; Clean and maintain displayed merchandise on the sales floor; Be responsible for ensuring a pleasant shopping experience for all customers.

Responsibilities for Cash Handling Associate:

• Effectively process transactions by scanning items with precision.
• Maintain an orderly and clean checkout station.
• Successfully process sales transactions, returns, and exchanges through the point of sale (POS) system in a precise manner.
• Engage in cooperative efforts with team members and supervisors to meet store sales milestones.
• Engage with customers in a friendly and professional manner to enhance their shopping experience.
